BART Discount Card Reimbursement Requests Due by Friday, December 16

Had a Problem with Your BART SFO Discount Card?  Submit a Reimbursement Request to BART by Friday, December 16.

Airport and airline employees who experienced problems using their BART SFO Discount Card between November 15 and December 1 should document trips where they had to pay the Airport surcharge.  Send the documentation to S.C. Kumar of BART at schandr@bart.gov no later than Friday, December 16, clearly indicating the dates you used BART and whether travel that day was one way or round trip.  Mr. Kumar’s direct phone number is 510.464.6970.  Acceptable evidence may include BART ticket vending machine receipts, paper tickets with remaining value, and transaction histories from bank debit or credit cards or the Clipper card.  BART is also considering a goodwill payment to address employees’ added tax obligations, loss of reload bonus, and general inconvenience.  Employees must contact BART to qualify.
