SFO Holds Luncheon for the Winners of its First Annual Intern Essay Contest

Intern Essay

This summer, SFO’s interns were invited to submit essays about their experiences working at SFO and how that experience is helping to shape their career goals and aspirations.  Ten winners were selected from the submissions and on July 25th, SFO held a luncheon for the winners of its first annual Intern Essay Contest.  Hosted by the airport’s Office of Social Responsibility and Community Sustainability (SRCS) the luncheon was held at Mission Bar & Grill in Terminal 3.

In addition to lunch, the winning essayists had the opportunity to discuss their internships and potential career paths in aviation with Airport COO Jeff Littlefield and the Employment & Community Partnerships (ECP) department.

Congratulations to the winning essayists.  SFO is proud of their work, as well as the role that the Airport and their mentors have played in shaping their career goals.
