San Francisco International Airport (SFO) announced plans to celebrate the Lunar New Year with the help of the Airport’s Wag Brigade team of certified therapy animals.  Travelers can celebrate the Year of the Dog at a special photo station with Wag Brigade team members dressed in unique outfits to commemorate the Lunar New Year.  Passengers will also receive traditional red envelopes with gold chocolate coins while visiting the station.

Details are as follows:

WHEN: Friday, February 16, 2018
              9:00am to 3:00pm

WHERE: SFO International Terminal

Launched in December 2013, the SFO Wag Brigade brings trained animals to the terminals to make travel more enjoyable.  The San Francisco Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SF SPCA) certifies all participating animals through their Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) Program.  The team includes LiLou, a Juliana breed pig, who has become a social media favorite.
