The Airport Commission and BART have reached an agreement to remove the airport surcharge for non-airline*, SFO badged employees starting July 1, 2013.
SFO is holding two informational meetings about the new SFO BART Discount Card pricing. Experts from the Airport, BART, and Edenred (a pre-Tax Transit solution provider) will be on hand to answer questions about the program, how it works, and the benefits.

*Airline employees are covered under a different agreement. Airline employees holding a valid SFO issued security badge are still eligible for a 25% discount off a one-way BART ride to or from SFO. Learn more about BART discounts for Airline Employees.
Some rental car center employees, subcontractors, and other firms located away from the terminals who do not need security access do not need badges. These employees are not eligible for this program unless the company contacts SFO management and voluntarily acquires security badges for its interested employees.
