Information about Super Bowl 50

Super Bowl 50

SFO officials expect approximately 1.3 million passengers to travel through SFO between January 31 and February 10, 2016.  The busiest single day is anticipated to be Monday, February 8th.  SFO typically handles about 60,000 departing passengers on an average day, but officials anticipate an additional 30,000 passengers that day, representing a 50% increase in departing passengers.  Please allow extra time to arrive to work.

Public Transit & Shared Rides

With high passenger volumes anticipated, SFO recommends that employees take public transit or share rides to the airport.
