SFO Food Donation Drive, November 1 through November 21

Support the Second Harvest Food Bank(1) in the fight against hunger.

With the high cost of living in the Bay Area, many families are struggling to put food on the table.  You can make a difference by donating food to help connect hungry families to healthy and nutritious food.

The SFO Food Donation Drive will take place from November 1 through November 21, 2016.  The following non-perishable items are needed:

  • Meals in a can (soup, stew, chili)
  • Tuna or canned chicken
  • Peanut butter
  • Canned foods with pop-top lids
  • Canned fruit in its own juice or water
  • Low-sodium canned vegetables
  • Olive or canola oil
  • Spices
  • Low-sugar whole grain cereals
  • Healthy snacks (granola bars, nuts, dried fruit)

Barrel locations: 

  1. Super Bay Hangar - American & United Airlines break rooms
  2. Signature Aviation
  3. United Airlines Maintenance Operation Center (MOC)
    1. Outside main cafeteria
    2. Outside jet shop
    3. Outside Dock 1 break room
  4. Commission employees - in break rooms
