Airline and Concession Tenants
To establish authority and an account for badges, background checks and vehicle permits, airline and concession tenants must provide:
A letter of introduction from the company's authorized representative on letterhead stationery to "Manager, Security Access Office". The letter must include:
All individuals authorized on behalf of the company as signatories must receive a Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) and Security Threat Assessment (STA) clearance prior to the submission of any airport I.D.badge applications on behalf of an employee. Following receipt of the letter of introduction, the authorized representative will be contacted by a Security Access Office representative to make an appointment for fingerprinting.
When the authorized employee badge application signatory’s fingerprints have cleared, company employees may apply for airport I.D. badges.
All airline and concession tenant employees must complete the process of obtaining an airport I.D. badge prior to commencement of work, as directed by Transportation Security Regulations and SFO's Airport Security Program.
Vendors
Companies that are service providers to an already-established airport tenant must follow the above steps.
Additionally, the airport tenant for which the company will provide service must mail or fax a letter of sponsorship to "Manager, Security Access Office."
