By Appointment Only

Limousines (only) – The Second and Fourth Tuesday of the month at 10:00 am

All other types of operations – The Second and Fourth Thursday of the month at 11:00 am

All new permit applicants must attend a Mandatory Orientation (Long Distance Charter operators are exempt). The purpose of the orientation is to assist in completing the permit application paperwork, review all the required documents, discuss the Airport’s Rules and Regulations and answer any questions.

The Mandatory Orientation is held in the Ground Transportation Permit Processing Unit (GTPPU) and lasts approximately one hour. There is no pre-registration required and it is free. You must make an appointment by calling 650.821.3600. Orientation is held on the second and fourth week of the month on Tuesday for Limousines only and Thursdays for all other type of operations. Please bring the documents listed on the checklist to the Orientation for review and allow yourself adequate time to arrive before the start time.

After attending Orientation, you will then be able to schedule an appointment to drop off your completed application and required documents by calling 650.821.3600. Please make sure you have copies of all required documents. The GTU will not make any copies for you. You will be contacted once your application has been processed and approved. Once your permit has been approved and finalized, you will then be asked to submit your bond and registration fees. The total time for processing a new application is approximately three weeks.
