SUBJECT: COVID-19 : Occurrence at SFO
Alaska Airlines has informed us that an Alaska customer service employee at SFO has tested positive for COVID-19. The employee worked in Terminal 2, and was last on duty on Tuesday, March 10th.
The safety and health of our employees and passengers is our highest priority. Prior to this news, SFO had already implemented enhanced cleaning and disinfection measures throughout the Airport, and applied additional deep cleaning to the areas in Terminal 2 where the employee worked.
In the meantime, all employees and passengers should monitor their health and assess any symptoms that align with those of COVID-19: fever, cough, or shortness of breath. Before going to a doctor’s office or the medical clinic, call ahead and tell them about your symptoms and where you work. Avoid contact with others, and avoid traveling while sick.
