Prior to the performance of construction activities at San Francisco International Airport, and in addition to all SFO badging requirements, contractor and subcontractor companies must submit the documents listed below:
A sponsorship letter briefly describing construction activity, location, airport contract number, title, commencement and termination dates.
Airport Construction Contractors and Subcontractors (Airport/City Projects): the sponsorship letter must come from an Airport Commission contract manager.
Tenant Construction Contractors and Subcontractors (Tenant Improvement Projects): the letter must come from the airport tenant with copy of approved building permit issued by an airport BICE officer.
An introductory letter from the contractor (on company letterhead) including:
Contractor Request for Identification Badges and Vehicle Access Permits:
Completed 4-part "Contractor Request for Identification Badges and Vehicle Access Permits" containing all original required signatures for steps one through four. This form is available from the airport project manager or property manager.
"C" Construction badges are issued to construction contractors responsible for temporary construction personnel such as union hall workers.
To obtain "C" Construction badges, the contractor must submit to the Security Access Office a request letter on company letterhead listing:
