While Traveling

While Commuting:

  • Choose transit, biking, or car/van pool.  The ECO (Employee Commute Options) program will pay Commission employees $200 per month ($2,400 per year) for surrendering their parking privileges at the Airport if they are represented by a signatory union.  The additional money can be used for commuting by any means.  On the rare occasion that you may need to drive, the employee parking rate is only $13 per day. Learn more at https://sfoconnect.com/sfo-employee-commute-options-eco.
    • BART trains arrive and depart from SFO every 15 minutes, from 5:30am to 8:45pm, and then every 20 minutes until midnight.  Badged employees can get an EZ Rider pass to get $4.40 off BART fares to or from SFO.   For more info, visit http://ezrider.bart.gov.
    • Caltrain trains arrive at Millbrae station four times per hour in each direction at peak commute times.  It’s a short 10-minute bike ride from Millbrae to the Airport.
  • Still need to drive?  Charging spots for electric vehicles are abundant and the Airport’s electricity is carbon-free.

While flying:

  • Bring a reusable water bottle and fill it up at one of SFO’s hydration stations.
