A Giant Bunny Lands a Spot on SFO’s Wag Brigade

Airport’s team of certified therapy animals now includes a Flemish Giant rabbit SFO today announced the Wag Brigade, the Airport’s team of certified stress-relief animals, has a new member: a 28-pound Flemish Giant rabbit named Alex the Great, already known for stealing hearts at San Francisco Giants baseball and Golden State Warriors basketball games. Alex is the first rabbit to join the Wag Brigade, which is mostly comprised of dogs but also includes LiLou, a Juliana-breed pig.

Mayor London Breed and Business Leaders Announce Commitment to San Francisco

Major businesses join City in committing to return to work plans starting in the month of March Mayor London N. Breed and business leaders announced on March 3rd plans to commit to returning to in-person work in San Francisco throughout the month of March. Mayor Breed has worked with the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce and business leaders on implementing return to in-person work policies through the “Welcome Back to SF” pledge as the Omicron surge subsides.

Security Access Office Closed on March 9th

The Security Access Office (SAO) will be closed on Wednesday, March 9, 2022. It will re-open for normal business hours on Thursday, March 10, 2022. If there is an emergency operational need, T-Badges can be obtained from the Security Operations Center during the time that we are closed. As always, T-Badges can be obtained at the vehicle checkpoints 24 hours a day.
