SFO is hiring an Airport Integrated Operations Center (AIOC) Director

SFO’s AIOC will lead a collaborative cross-functional team responsible for managing airport operations within SFO’s Airport Integrated Operations Center. The AIOC will create an extraordinary guest experience through centralized operational control – enabling informed, data-driven decisions and managing all reported issues with care, while working in collaboration to provide a safe, secure, and seamless guest experience.

San Francisco to Host Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation CEO Summit in November

San Francisco will host the annual Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) CEO Summit 2023 on November 11 – 17, 2023, at the Moscone Center West. The Secretary of Homeland Security, Alejandro N. Mayorkas, has designated the APEC CEO Summit 2023 a National Special Security Event (NSSE), activating the Federal Government in the implementation of event security and incident management to ensure the safety of all event participants. This will be a complex undertaking for the Airport and will impact residential areas in San Francisco.

Día de Los Muertos Festivities Return to SFO

SFO Celebrates hosts live performances from San Francisco-based LatinX artists SFO announced the latest activation of an experiential series that brings San Francisco’s neighborhoods and cultural events directly to airport guests. Starting October 19, 2023, “SFO Celebrates Día de los Muertos” will bring the renowned holiday from San Francisco’s Mission District to the airport, with live music, dance and cultural performances from San Francisco-based Latino and LatinX artists.
