Due to increases in traffic, BART will adjust schedules starting Monday, March 22, 2021. Frequencies will remain every 30 minutes in most cases. Opening hours will be similar.
Weekday schedules are mostly unchanged on the Yellow (Antioch) and Purple (Millbrae) Lines. Notable improvements include:
- Two southbound yellow line trains which were formerly terminated at Daly City have been extended to SFO and will arrive at SFO at 8:27 a.m. and 8:57 a.m. Two northbound yellow line trains which formerly originated at Daly City will instead originate at SFO, departing at 3:11 p.m. and 3:41 p.m.
- Red line trains from Richmond arriving at Millbrae will become purple line trains and continue to SFO. Purple line trains arriving at Millbrae from SFO will become red line trains to Richmond. Guests and employees traveling between SFO and Richmond line stations on weekdays will have a faster journey using this route instead of transferring to and from the yellow line.
Weekend schedules have been adjusted and are the same on Saturday and Sunday:
- The Yellow Line (Antioch) departs SFO at :18 and :48 past the hour and arrives at SFO at :00 and :30 past the hour. The first arrival is at 8:30 a.m., and the first departure is at 7:48 a.m. The last arrival is at 10:55 p.m., and the last departure is at 9:11 p.m.
- The Purple Line (Millbrae) departs SFO at :01 and :31 past the hour and arrives at SFO at :17 and :47 past each hour. The first arrival is at 7:45 a.m. and the first departure is at 8:31 a.m. The last arrival is at 9:09 p.m. and the last departure is at 10:11 p.m.
