The Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will again offer Transgender 101 in partnership with the Mayor’s Office of Transgender Initiatives.
- When: Thursday, February 18, 2021 from 11:00am - 1:00pm
- What: This facilitator-led virtual training session introduces attendees to issues related to transgender, gender nonconforming, and gender nonbinary communities. This workshop will provide a critical analysis of the gender binary, key terminology, best practice language, use of gender pronouns, and an overview of the Airport and City’s Department of Human Resources Gender Inclusion Policies.
- Who: This training is open to any Commission employee wishing to gain a better understanding of the issues facing transgender, gender nonconforming, and gender nonbinary communities.

- Watch Trans 101 - The Basics (8 minutes)
- Complete the Training Preliminary Assessment (10-15 minutes)
