We are so excited to bring our interns back to SFO this summer, and we need your help! We are hiring local students from diverse communities aligned with our Racial Equity Action Plan and career pathway program goals. Interns will gain valuable work experience while building their skills and playing a vital role in the operation of SFO!
We are offering two programs:
Summer High School Intern
- June-August 2022, 8 weeks (20 hours per week)
- Interns are local high school youth with diverse skillsets.
- We seek mentors who enjoy sharing their knowledge and have projects focused on customer service, safety and security, or COVID-19 Recovery.
Career Advance Intern
- August 2022-September 2023 (32 hours per week)
- Interns possess a wide range of skills and academic backgrounds.
- This more extended internship includes job training and professional development workshops.
- We seek mentors who are passionate about developing others and have projects focused on safety and security or mission-critical initiatives (i.e., Racial Equity Action Plan, COVID-19 Recovery, Interim Strategic Plan).
Talent Mobility Team will coordinate internship logistics, including hiring, onboarding, badging, parking/transit, equity training, professional development, and career exposure.
