SFO has reimagined the traditional suggestion box concept and made it available to all Commission employees via SFO Copilot. More than ever, the creativity and resourcefulness of our employees is critical in ensuring we offer the highest levels of service to our communities, promote innovation, and operate a safe and healthy airport. This new SFO Co-Pilot functionality offers a simple, intuitive interface to capture and track your best ideas.
While any idea can be submitted, Commission employees are encouraged to send in suggestions related to specific topics that are important to our success, including:
- Revenue and Cost Savings
- Safety, Security, and Health
- Social Responsibility
- Customer and Employee Care
- Process Improvement
How to access the SFO Suggestion Box
After downloading and accessing SFO Copilot using your network credentials, follow these simple steps:
- Touch the Airport Icon at bottom left
- Touch the Suggestion Box
- Select a topic, share your idea and submit
Suggestions should be thoughtful, considered, and include details about benefits and challenges as well as any thoughts you have on implementation. Suggestions without additional content cannot be evaluated. Lastly, the process provides for each submitter to request email notifications related to their submitted suggestion.
Updates will include comments about whether the suggestion is implementable. Every submission will be vetted with the appropriate department.
Questions or feedback related to the program should be directed to Christopher Birch, Director of Guest Experience at (650) 821-5249 or christopher.birch@flysfo.com.
