Honored by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals
SFO announced it has received multiple awards for video production. In their 2023 Viddy Awards, the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals honored SFO with four gold-level awards recognizing outstanding achievement in video and digital production. There were over 2,500 entries from throughout the United States, Canada, and 22 other countries in the 2023 competition.
“I am so proud of our SFO team for this achievement,” said Airport Director Ivar C. Satero. “Communicating effectively with both customers and employees is vital, and our video production team continues to create entertaining and engaging content that informs, educates, and inspires. My thanks go out to our team of dedicated professionals for this honor.”
SFO was named a Gold Winner for the following videos:
- Directing – SFO2GO food-ordering app
- Writing – SFO2GO food-ordering app
- Cinematography – SFO: Inspiring the Extraordinary
- Short Form Travel/Adventure – Wag Brigade Member Luna Travels with SFO’s New Flights
SFO also earned Honorable Mention for the following videos:
- Short Form Food & Beverage – SFO2GO food-ordering app
- Short Form Marketing – Magic Bus
- Short Form Trailer – SFO: Inspiring the Extraordinary
- Directing – SFO: Inspiring the Extraordinary

The Viddy Awards, formerly the Videographer Awards, is one of the most coveted awards in the video industry. Since 1994, thousands of production and communication professionals have entered their best and most creative work. The goal of the Viddy Awards is to identify and recognize the video artisans who excel in the scope of their own environment. Winners range from network news operations to local cable access, from large production companies to freelancers, and from international advertising agencies to student producers.
