SFO's 2024 Winter Clean Sweep: December 2-13, 2024

This year's 2024 Winter Clean Sweep will be held from Monday, December 2 to Friday, December 13. This is a time for tenants to focus on general housekeeping in their leased areas, address facility conditions, and dispose of debris and any non-operational equipment.

Consistent with our Core Values, this is a collective effort impacting the Airport's goal to reduce our waste appropriately and effectively. Guidelines for appropriate disposal at this year's dumpster locations to follow.

During SFO’s 2024 Winter Clean Sweep, all tenants are asked to do the following:

  • Conduct general housekeeping, with a special focus on removing items that may create a hazard, FOD (Foreign Object Debris), or are no longer used in operations.
  • Work with Airport Duty Managers and Property Managers to identify areas that need additional cleaning or repair.
  • Discard non-operational and broken furniture, signage, or electronic equipment (e-waste).

Dumping and littering of hazardous material is prohibited.


Dumpsters will be located at the following locations:

Landside

  • Courtyard 1 – Landfill, wood pallets, metal and e-waste
  • Courtyard 2 – Landfill Only
  • Courtyard 4 – Landfill, rigid plastics, metal, wood pallets and e-waste

Airside

  • Gate D2 – Landfill and e-waste
  • Gate A1 – Landfill Only
