Terminal 2-D Employee / Vendor Checkpoint and KCM Entrance Relocation

As we anticipate increased passenger volumes for the upcoming summer travel season, coupled with new carriers in Terminal 2 (T2), the T2-D Checkpoint will be stressed, especially during peak operating hours. In an effort to increase passenger screening capacity at the T2-D checkpoint, effective Thursday, May 12, 2022, the employee, vendor and Known Crew Member (KCM) access will all be relocated from the current T2-D locations to the Boarding Area C Checkpoint. In addition, the TSA has agreed to expand the hours of the C Checkpoint for access to match that of T2-D Checkpoint. Checkpoint C will be staffed for access from 0400-0030 daily. The current T2-D Employee/Vendor checkpoint lanes will be utilized for Pre-Check passengers during the peak morning hours of 0430-1000 initially. Those hours will be reevaluated as flights increase in T2.

The TSA will send a separate notice regarding the KCM entrance. You may want to consider changing crew drop off locations closer to the T1-C entrance door.

Vendor deliveries should continue to utilize Courtyard 2 and access Checkpoint C via the existing T1 entrance. The exit lane will remain in T2, but, will provide similar access to Courtyard 2.
