Terminal 3 West - F Plaza Closure and New Passenger Routing

As part of the Terminal 3 West (T3W) construction project, a new T3W passenger routing will become active; closure of F-Plaza, and closure of the AirTrain passenger bridge and basement level tunnel. 

DETAILS: 

  • Where: Terminal 3 
  • Effective Date: Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 4:00 am. 
    • Key Changes: 
    • Terminal 3 AirTrain station pedestrian bridge closed. AirTrain station remains open. 
    • F Tunnel at basement level closed. Garage vertical circulation remains open. 
    • Terminal mezzanine level circulation closed at F-Plaza. 
    • Terminal departures level circulation restricted at F-Plaza. 
    • F Plaza, terminal side vertical circulation at basement through mezzanine levels will be 
      closed. 
    • United Premier guests can use core E at parking garage level 1 for terminal access. 
    • United Economy guests can use core F/G at parking garage level 1 for terminal access.
