AirTrain Red Line Partial Closure from March 19-31

March 2025

Due to ongoing construction related to the International Terminal Building (ITB) Roof Upgrade, the AirTrain Red Line will be closed at the Terminal 3 and International Terminal G Stations from March 19-31, 2025.The Blue Line will stop at the Garage G/BART Station and return back to West Field Road, Rental Car Center, and Long-Term Parking stations. The Garage G/BART AirTrain station will be the transfer point from the Blue Line to the Red Line.

2025 Spring Break Employee Parking

As SFO anticipates increased passenger volumes over the upcoming Spring Break period, we find it necessary to make a temporary change to the current discounted daily parking program for Airport tenant employees.Starting Friday, March 28, 2025, and ending on Sunday, April 13, 2025, the $13 discounted daily rate for Airport tenant employees will only be offered in Lot D and not the International Garages. Lot D will be staffed 24/7 to process employee transactions for all shifts.

Homelessness and Airport Security

February 2025

On the evening of Friday, February 21st, a person experiencing homelessness (PEH) assaulted an Airport Duty Manager in the baggage claim area of Harvey Milk Terminal 1. The Airport Duty Manager was responding to the area after the individual attempted to breach the Boarding Area B security checkpoint only minutes earlier. San Francisco Police Department-Airport Bureau (SFPD-AB) officers responded and arrested the individual.

SFO Medical Clinic Holiday Hours – Presidents' Day

The SFO Medical Clinic will be closed on Monday, February 17, 2025, in observance of Presidents' Day.
