2020 began with tremendous promise and achievement for the Airport. Having completed several long-term goals in 2019, SFO was on a record-breaking pace for passengers and air service. Butthat changed quickly in March with COVID-19. Our short and long-term goals were adjusted in order to focus on protecting the public’s health. Since March, we’ve been adapting to an ever-evolving “new normal.” COVID-19 is definitely the greatest challenge the Airport has ever faced, but our response has revealed the resilience, resourcefulness and commitment of our employees.
