The MVP Committee is hosting its first ever Book Donation Drive to promote literacy, develop reading skills, and provide enriching reading materials to children, youth, adults, seniors and disadvantaged members of our communities. The beneficiaries are Reading Partners, The Children’s Book Project, Curry Senior Center, and Friends of the San Francisco Public Library*.
Location: Place items in the barrels in employee breakrooms
Dates: Through April 30, 2021
New or Gently Used Books (in any language):
1. For beginning readers ages 5-9 (see wish list)
2. For children ages 0-18 (books featuring characters of color, board books, early chapter books, graphic novels, and books in Spanish/Chinese)
3. All ages (fiction and non-fiction books)
4. Textbooks Media (CDs, DVDs and Blu-rays; vinyl records; books on CDs; and computer and video games) will also be accepted.
Encyclopedia sets and magazines are excluded.
If you would like to make a monetary donation in lieu of an in-kind donation, please email the MVP Committee at sfomvp@flysfo.com. The funds will be used to purchase the items above.
