SFO Named Best Airport in North America by Business Traveler Magazine

Airport also earns Best Independent Lounge award for The Club SFOSFO has been named the Best Airport in North America by Business Traveler Magazine. The publication noted the Airport’s commitment to an outstanding experience, noting its high customer satisfaction ratings from Airports Council International and J.D. Power. The magazine also cited its environmental initiatives and family-friendly facilities as factors.

SFO's 2024 Winter Clean Sweep: December 2-13, 2024

This year's 2024 Winter Clean Sweep will be held from Monday, December 2 to Friday, December 13. This is a time for tenants to focus on general housekeeping in their leased areas, address facility conditions, and dispose of debris and any non-operational equipment.Consistent with our Core Values, this is a collective effort impacting the Airport's goal to reduce our waste appropriately and effectively. Guidelines for appropriate disposal at this year's dumpster locations to follow.During SFO’s 2024 Winter Clean Sweep, all tenants are asked to do the following:

Thanksgiving Holiday Employee Parking

As we anticipate increased passenger volumes over the upcoming Thanksgiving Holiday period, we find it necessary to make a temporary change to the current discounted daily parking program for Airport tenant employees.Starting Monday, November 25, 2024, and ending on Monday, December 2, 2024, the $13 discounted daily rate for Airport tenant employees will only be offered in Lot D and not the International Garages. Lot D will be staffed 24/7 to process employee transactions for all shifts.

Appointment of New Airport Commissioner – Susan Leal

Mayor London N. Breed has appointed Ms. Susan Leal to the Airport Commission.Ms. Leal has spent a significant portion of her career in public service, including serving as Counsel to a House Commerce Committee’s Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations, Member of the Board of Supervisors of the City and County of San Francisco, Treasurer of the City and County of San Francisco, and General Manager of the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission.

Run, Hide, FightDo you know what to do in an active threat situation?  Recognize the warning signs and how to respond.Participants will learn how to recognize warning signs of a potential active shooter, report the threats, and be part of hands-on interactive first-aid medical training and self-defense training from SFPD and SF Fire Dept.
