BART has announced updated schedule and service enhancements effective August 2, 2021.  The existing and future service hours are listed below along with detailed updates from BART regarding their operation.

SFO and California Department of Public Health Launch Free COVID Testing Program for Arriving International Passengers

Pilot program, first in the nation, will monitor and prevent spread of virus variants SFO announced today it is the first airport in the United States to launch a free COVID-19 testing program for international arriving passengers, hosting a pilot test program with the California Department of Public Health (CDPH). The program will equip travelers with registered self-testing kits allowing the CDPH to monitor for COVID-19 variants in the state and develop mitigation strategies.

SFO Scores Multiple Awards for Video Communications

Airport honored by States of California and Nevada Chapter of National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors SFO announced it has received multiple awards for video communications campaigns. In their 2021 STAR Awards, the States of California and Nevada Chapter of the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (SCAN NATOA) honored SFO with six awards in five different categories, including COVID-related videos highlighting COVID disinfection measures and encouraging compliance with face mask requirements.

Physical Well-Being - Commuting: Fit & Healthy Behind the Wheel

Spending lots of time on the road driving? Learn ways for meal prep, body mechanics, stress reduction, and sleep strategies. This workshop discusses commuting trends around the Bay Area, and helps participants explore options to improve their health during their commutes. Participants will understand health risks associated with commuting; learn strategies around nutrition, posture, sleep and stress to improve well-being; and develop a plan for a healthier commute.
