Dear Team: As an SFO community, we applaud the outcome of this case, and hope that this will be a watershed moment in creating a fundamental shift at the intersection of law enforcement and race. Today’s verdict is a step forward in the fight for police accountability.  We must continue to appeal for a fundamental change in law enforcement hiring, policies, and tactics. We know that our City shares this view, but we must embrace this as a nation.
