Alternate AirTrain Routing Starting Friday, May 8, 2020

Beginning Friday, May 8 at 5:00 a.m. and running through Monday, May 18 at 5:00 a.m., the AirTrain will be operating in a different mode. The Red Line will be taken out of service and the Blue Line will be placed in service. However, Blue Line trains will be traveling in a clockwise direction around the terminal loop before heading to the Rental Car Center from the Hotel Station. This will allow the Airport to exercise all Blue Line equipment and give our team time to perform preventative maintenance to the Red Line.

Your health and welfare are a top priority.  To achieve the City’s goal of universal access to COVID-19 testing, testing is continually expanding, based on where the need is greatest and the availability of resources. The Department of Public Health (DPH) has stabilized the supply chain for testing, and it is now available for all essential workers regardless of symptoms or exposure.

American Airlines Moves into Harvey Milk Terminal 1 on May 12th

Relocation will activate new nine-gate section of Boarding Area B San Francisco International Airport (SFO) announced that American Airlines will move into Harvey Milk Terminal 1 effective Tuesday, May 12, 2020. This move was originally planned to occur in late March but was postponed due to the COVID-19 crisis. The Airport has remained open for essential travel, and the Harvey Milk Terminal 1 project has been deemed essential construction activity in accordance with the San Francisco Department of Public Health Order.
